Highlights
2000: First year in
racing finished 16th in points at Airport Speedway New Castle, DE
2001: First feature win Path Valley Speedway, PA. Went on to
win five times that year and win the NMMA Nationals as the youngest
driver ever in 2001, Garden City, KS.
2002: Started racing 600cc class and continued with the 125cc
class. Picked up 6 wins plus won the NMMA Nationals for the 2nd year
in a row.
2003: Started Driving for Ned Bean in the Schwarr Concrete
number 29. Also became a Hyper House car driver in the 125cc class
and 600cc class. Picked up numerous wins throughout the year.
2004: Continued racing 600’s, 125’s and 250-4 strokes, picking
up wins all over the east coast. Also won the Linda’s point
Championship. He also went back to the NMMA Nationals and picked up
his 3rd title.
2005: AJ had an awesome year, he won the point championship at
Linda’s again, 2nd year in a row. He won the Lanco points
Championship and was awarded Sportsman of the Year. He won the Labor
Day Shootout in three Divisions of racing in one day. He also won the
Memorial Day Show. He then went on to win the prestigious CLYDE
MARTIN MEMORIAL race.
2006: AJ tried his hand at ARDC Midgets driving for Mike
Miller. It wasn’t long and AJ was offered to drive a 305 sprint car
for MR. DENT inc. Half a season later, AJ and his car owners and
sponsors formed a team “B&M Motorsports”. Car owners Ned Bean and
Doug Michael decided it was time to take the next step. Ned went out
and purchased a 410 sprint car team. AJ finished driving the 410 the
rest of 2006, which was three show’s. He managed to pull off a top
ten at Susquehanna Speedway
2007: This year was the toughest for AJ in racing. He went all
year with no wins and 2 Top 10’s, The team learned a lot of new info
on the car.
2008: AJ had a fantastic year. He picked up his first career
410 win at Williams Grove Speedway. He also went on to have 2 top
fives and 5 top 10’s.
